Building Companionship

When students learn in person, they are impacted by one another as much as the teacher. To this end, as well as focusing on the Islamic sciences, we seek to nurture a spiritually rich environment rooted in the Islamic principle of suhba. To this end we will develop:

  • Foundational Manners (Adab) through following basic classroom etiquette, including listening respectfully, taking turns, and embodying kindness and respect when addressing teachers and peers respectively..

  • Friendships based on kindness, honesty, and helpfulness, reflecting the Prophetic ﷺ teachings about good manners and character.

  • Personal development by encouraging sincere effort to improve character traits including, but not limited to truthfulness, patience, and humility.

What parents are saying...

“We absolutely adore this class. My younger son has been asking to take it as well. My older has such a confident grasp on concepts that I'm going to be honest, I didn't learn until college. Jazakum Allahu khayran for letting us just sort of rely on you for this.”

“Mashallah these classes were so formative. it's such a needed program. Proud of you for building these institutions/forums of learning. I tell everyone I can about you Mashallah Mashallah.”

“Dear Dr. Bano, just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all that you and Ustadh Tahir have done for the kids this year. It has been wonderful to watch them learn our deen - and enjoy doing it! You have both helped us fulfill the huge - and sometimes daunting - responsibility of teaching our children the deen in such difficult times. May Allah bless you both, and your families, and fulfill all of your needs as you have fulfilled ours. Jazakum Allah alf khair. Lots of love from Dubai!”
